Side One Track One is a blog that was started by John Laird in 2006 after he graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and was forced to stop working in college radio.  Over the years the site has grown to include actual readers, a few contributors, a film section, and some other things ... but it's still essentially about him (and friends) sharing songs that someone out there might like.  The end.

In regards to the downloadable content on this site, it's only available for roughly two weeks and it's never archived.  Still, If you are an artist (or represent an artist) being featured on Side One Track One and want a song taken down, contact John Laird, and it will be removed as fast as possible.  Nothing shared here is meant to be malicious or illegal, so trust us when we say it will be removed when requested.
