Side One Track One is a blog that was started by John Laird in 2006 after he graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and was forced to stop working in college radio.  Over the years the site has grown to include actual readers, a few contributors, a film section, and some other things ... but it's still essentially about him (and friends) sharing songs that someone out there might like.  The end.

Posting Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Song Rambles
 - always feature at least one download

Wednesday
Guest Columns

- featuring words and choices from Dan Corbin, Brad Corteza, Jennifer Leduc, and Zoe Cordes Selbin

Saturday
Weekly Film News Rundown
 - top stories and trailers from the past week

Randomly
Film Reviews and Breakdowns
 - these will show up whenever an early screening of something is attended
Podcast
 - music-centric

In regards to the downloadable content on this site, it's only available for roughly two weeks and it's never archived.  Still, If you are an artist (or represent an artist) being featured on Side One Track One and want a song taken down, contact John Laird, and it will be removed as fast as possible.  Nothing shared here is meant to be malicious or illegal, so trust us when we say it will be removed when requested.

Please do not steal bandwidth by hot/direct linking any of the files that are hosted on this site.

Now, to sum all of this up, take a look at the beautiful Side One Track One family.
